Yesterday, Literacy Bridge launched their Talking Book pilot program in Ghana. OSBR readers will remember Literacy Bridge from Cliff Schmidt's article in the October 2008 issue entitled "Reducing Global Poverty and Disease with Community and Technology: An Open Source Perspective". The Talking Book is an excellent example of using open source and technology to tackle problems like global poverty.
The MaRs Collaboration Centre in Toronto is hosting a free lecture entitled "Business Ecosystems: A new form of organizing knowledge workers worldwide." Registration details and a link to the powerpoint presentation can be found here.
The Open Source Business Resource (OSBR) is a free monthly publication of the Talent First Network. Each issue contains thoughtful insights on open source issues written for and by people who work with open source.
