Free Geek in Canada

Free Geek, originally founded in Portland, Oregon in 2000, is a "not for profit community organization that recycles used technology to provide computers, education, internet access and job skills training to those in need in exchange for community service". The first Canadian Free Geek was launched in Vancouver in late 2006 and Ottawa is awaiting its application approval. Dave Sampson from the Free Geek Ottawa Working Group gave a 5 minute lightning talk at the last OSBootCamp in Ottawa.
