Talking Book Program Launched

Yesterday, Literacy Bridge launched their Talking Book pilot program in Ghana. OSBR readers will remember Literacy Bridge from Cliff Schmidt's article in the October 2008 issue entitled "Reducing Global Poverty and Disease with Community and Technology: An Open Source Perspective". The Talking Book is an excellent example of using open source and technology to tackle problems like global poverty.
